Communicating with employees during planned moments of their employee journey, like onboarding, a promotion, or their work anniversary is important. It becomes even more important when unexpected or unplanned events occur. These are often challenging topics because of their unexpected nature, and other times they are challenging due to their subject matter. 

In the past few years alone, companies have had to communicate with employees about current events including the COVID pandemic, the war in Ukraine, the overturn of Roe v. Wade and more - these are hugely impactful events that affect people at work and at home.
