Nadia is the VP of People at Remote, where sheworks on all things people and continues to enable Remote as a great place to work.She is exceptionally passionate about a remote-first working environment, leading with values and creating a self-enabled culture to ensure everyone is set up for success. She came from GitLab, leading People Operations and Experience, People Engineering, and International Expansion and helped scale GitLab from 75 to 1300 employees.
Julie Major G.
Julie is currently the Director of Talent Acceleration at Shopify, responsible for People Technology & HR Operational Excellence globally. Julie's ability to build strong relationships and passion to disrupt have allowed her to develop innovative solutions and do things differently. For the past 5 years, she has contributed to Shopify's phenomenal expansion now with merchants in ~175 countries and 10,000 employees across the globe. She previously came from Deloitte's Human Capital practice, working alongside clients to help implement and execute their HR Digital strategy.
